Revelation 17:14 (KJV) 14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
It’s a given: Jesus is victorious and will always be victorious over and against all enemies fighting Him for the simple fact that He is the Lord of lords and the King of kings.
We’re grateful for being on the winning side—the team of the overcomers. We restfully and joyfully strive to life faithfully in Him and before Him as His called and chosen people. We don’t ever want to find ourselves going against Him, His ways, and His will.
We pray for many others to come to Him instead of fighting Him. And inasmuch as we want to pray for everyone to do so, we already know from the Scriptures that not everyone will. But we continue to invite others since we don’t really know who’s who—who will bow before our King, and who will continue rejecting Him.
There’s a war coming for sure—a war more significant than any other wars. This directly involves the Lord Himself and us. As expected; it doesn’t matter how numerous, how powerful, and how organized the evil forces are, because Jesus is Lord, we will overcome.
